Girvin and Subir Sachdev at Yale University. Sept. 2004-July 2005: Postdoctoral Associate with Professor Yong Baek Kim at University of Toronto. Accolades: Institute Silver Medal in Physics from I.I.T Kharagpur in 1993. Indo-US research fellow in Physics, 2010. Member, Joint Indo-US Center for Ultracold atoms (2009-2011). Fellow, Indian Academy of Sciences 2012. APS Outstanding referee, 2012, SSB award in Physical Sciences, 2012. Fellow, National Academy of Sciences, 2013. Indian Member in the Council of Asia Pacific Center for Theoretical Physics (2014-Present). Editorial Board Member for JPCM from Jan. 2016 onwards.

Quantum Statistical Physics, Phase transitions, Topology in solid statesystems, Non-equilibrium dynamics of quantum many-body systems and field theory.
