Research Interest
Developed microsatellite markers for mango, banana, okra and pomegranate. -Invovled in gene pyarmiding and development of tomato hybrids. -Assessement of genetic diversity and characterization of Indian mango cultivars Projects involved: 1. Functional Genomics of Fusarium wilt and drought tolerance in Banana (ICAR NPTC; as PI) 2. Morphological and Molecular Characterization of Wild and Indigenous Mango Varieties of Indo- Burma Region (North- Eastern Region)(DBT; as PI) 3.Metabolomics of tomato with special reference to fruit quality (DBT; as associate) 4. Development of microsatellite markers in okra and pomegranate
