He is currently working as Assistant Professor in Department of Physics, IIEST, Shibpur, India.
Research Interest
Density Functional Theory based ab-initio electronic structure calculation and study of magnetic, electronic, structural and optical properties and phase transitions of complex materials. Spin Orbit Coupling driven Magnetic and Topological phases in 5d transition metal oxides. Extracting and tuning effective spin models for low dimensional quantum spin systems. Spin State Transition and Spin Cross Over phenomena in Organo-metallic framework (MOFs).
