Biography
He is an assistant professor at the Department of Humanities and Social Sciences, IIIT Guwahati, Assam. He did my master degree in Economics with specialization in Econometrics and Mathematical Economics from Dibrugarh University and received Ph. D. from IIT Kharagpur, West Bengal in 2014. The title of his thesis is "Economic viability and farmers adoption of Jatropha plantation in North East India." He had joined IIIT Guwahati on 26th December 2014. Before joining IIIT Guwahti, He was working as an Assistant Professor at NIT Sikkim.
Research Interest
He is working on areas related to the issues of Development Economics, Health Economics, and Experimental Economics. Her research works are applied in nature. Currently, He is focusing on policy interventions and people's participation in health screening program.
