Biography
She is an Assistant Professor of Economics in the Department of Humanities and Social Sciences at Indian Institute of Information Technology, Guwahati. Her current research focus is on International Trade and Economic Development.
Research Interest
She is interested in working on issues related to trade and its impact on the socio-economic conditions of trading nations. She has worked on the applications of Comparative Advantage Theory of International Trade. She has also worked on the effectiveness of South Asian Free Trade Area for the underdeveloped countries of the region. Currently She is working on a impact of Chinese import surge on the wage inequality between skilled and unskilled labor in India.
