Biography
She is working as an Assistant Professor at the department of Computer Science and Engineering of IIIT Guwahati since December, 2016. She had completed her M.Tech and PhD from the department of CSE, Indian Institute of Technology, Guwahati in 2014. Her doctoral research topic was distributed topology management for efficient data gathering in wireless sensor networks. Earlier she was working as an Assistant Professor at BITS Pilani Hyderabad Campus. She also had the opportunity to have an inter-disciplinary research experience while working as a resarch volunteer at the department of Biomedical Informatics, The Ohio State University, USA for a few months.
Research Interest
Broadly She was interested in solving routing path selection and topology management problems for the applications of distributed systems, wireless sensor and mobile ad hoc networks. Currently her research activities are in the areas of vehicular social network and VANET routing protocols, Context-aware ubiquitous systems, wireless sensor networks for IoT applications, complex graphs and network theory problems.
