Biography
Professor Ana Marques has completed her Ph.D. in Accounting from the University of Texas at Austin, USA. She has completed her Management Degree followed by Master in Management from the Instituto Superior de Gestão, Lisbon (Portugal). Prior joining IIMB, Dr. Marques was an Associate Professor of Financial Accounting and Corporate Governance at Nova School of Business and Economics.
Research Interest
Her research interests include voluntary financial disclosures in capital markets, corporate governance and international accounting. She has published in these topics in journals such as Review of Accounting Studies, Journal of Business Finance & Accounting, Accounting Horizons, The International Journal of Accounting, and The British Accounting Review.
