Biography
Enrico Gorgone’s field of research is nonlinear programming with applications to discrete problems. He is interested in numerical approaches for large-scale structured optimization problems with emphasis on (re)formulation techniques. From the methodological point of view, he has mainly investigated (convex and non-convex) non-smooth optimization. From the applicative side, he has investigated network design problems. His interests encompass the theory, the implementations, and the applications.
