Biography
Nandita Roy holds a Master of Arts in English Literature from Jadavpur University. She has submitted her PhD thesis at Jadavpur University on Video Games and Narrativity. She has taught Communicative English at National University of Juridical Sciences and also conducted guest lectures at the School of Digital Texts and Records, Jadavpur University. Her industry experience includes working as a Media Consultant (Programming) for National Geographic Channel, where she was involved in content editing, quality control and ensuring standards and practices (S&P) for National Geographic Channel, Fox Life and Nat Geo Wild. She has worked as a Research Consultant for Oxford University. As a researcher, she has also worked on two collaborative projects conducted by McGill University, Canada and Jadavpur University, India.
Research Interest
Her research interests include media studies, game studies, gender studies, communication and English literature.
