Biography
Mukul Sharma is a professor in development communication. He has been a journalist, writer and development professional specializing in development, environment, social and human rights issues. He has received 12 national and international awards for his environmental, meal and human rights journalism including the statesman rural reporting award, sanskriti award and best asian journalist award for environmental reporting. In development sector, he has worked in Amnesty International, Action Aid International and UNDP at senior national and regional positions. He has published 14 books, the latest being is Green & saffron, Hindu Nationalism and Indian Environmental politics.
