Biography
Mr. Gananath D. Thakre is a Scientist in Adsorption and Membranes Area in CSIR - Indian Institute of Petroleum, Dehradun. His acheivements are • M. Tech Gold Medallist in the Department of Mechanical Engg. & Mining Machinery Engg. I.S.M. Dhanbad, 2004. • Fourth Merit in the Department of Production Engg. University of Nagpur, 2001. • Successfully completed Industrial failure analysis projects.
Research Interest
His research interests are • Modeling and simulation of tribo-contact phenomena under dry, boundary/mixed, EHL and Hydrodynamic regimes. • Design and development of tribo components. • Prognosis of Tribological failures in Industrial environment. • Surface characterization and interaction studies between lubricant additives and surfaces
