Biography
For more than a decade, Dr. Roma Mitra Debnath is involved with research and teaching in different areas of Management like, Service Sector, Manufacturing Quality issues and Benchmarking of various sectors. Her research focuses on decision under uncertainty, Benchmarking, TQM and Six Sigma. She had been guest faculty to various IIMs and IITs. Presently, she is actively involved with public issues viz, health, education etc. She is also involved with training sponsored by various ministries like Department of public Enterprises (DPE), Department of Science and Technology (DST), Department of Personnel and Training (DOPT), Department of Telecommunication (DOT),Ministry of Finance etc. in the area of Leadership, Project Management, Knowledge Management, and Research Methods etc.
Research Interest
Areas of Interest/Specialization is Applied research in Design of Experiments, Quality Control through modeling, Big Data Analytics, Six Sigma and its application in Industry, Taguchi’s method and Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA). Handling of various statistical packages, like, R, Minitab, SPSS, LINDO/LINGO, MS-EXCEL, Excel Solver and QUALITEK-4.
