Biography
Assistant Professor (November 2012-) Department of Physics, Indian Institute of Science Education and Research, Bhopal, India. Post Doc: Superconductivity & Magnetism Group, Department of Physics, University of Warwick, Coventry, CV4 7AL, U.K. Visiting Scientist : Tata Institute of Fundamental Research, Mumbai, India. Ph. D : (Experimental Condensed Matter Physics), Department of Physics, Indian Institute of Technology Bombay Mumbai, India.
Research Interest
My research interests are centred around the properties of strongly correlated electron materials including those exhibiting superconductivity, magnetism and other unconventional properties. I am also working on topological insulators and superconductors. My current research work can broadly be divided in three subfields (a) Single crystal growth and sample preparation (b) Measurements of magnetic, thermodynamic and transport properties (c) Muons spectroscopy and Neutron scattering
