Biography
He is presently at the post of Associate Professor in the School of Physics, Indian Institute of Science Education and Research, Thiruvananthapuram. He visited Max-Planck Institute CPfS, Dresden, May-July-20010. Postdoctoral fellow at Ames Laboratory, Iowa State University, Ames, USA from May 2008 to Sept. 2009. Postdoctoral fellow at Max Planck Institute for Chemical Physics of Solids Dresden, Germany from 2006 to to 2008. Involved in a short term project with Prof. Alois Loidl at Experimental Physics V, University of Augsburg, Germany from March, 2006 to June, 2006 Postdoctoral fellow at Experimental Physics III, University of Dortmund, Germany from May 2005 to Feb. 2006 Visited Experimental Physics V, University of Augsburg, Germany and worked there as a visiting research scholar during my PhD (from November 2003 to April 2004).
Research Interest
Quantum phase transition in low-dimensional spin systems, FeAs based superconductors, spinels etc.
