Biography
I did my bachelors from Presidency College (now Presidency University), Kolkata, India, in Zoology and a MSc. in the same subject from Calcutta University. I did my PhD from the University of Rochester, NY, USA under Prof. J H Werren in evolutionary genetics. After a stint at Purdue University as a post-doc working in functional genomics I joined the Indian Institute of Science Education and Research, Mohali, India, as an assistant professor in the department of biological sciences.
Research Interest
His main research interests include Evolutionary genetics, phenotypic evolution, functional genomics and molecular ecology.
