Biography

 Involved in active research for the past twelve years and have gathered a vast knowledge in the field of oncology with hands on experience in in vivo Xenograft models in nude and SCID mice for screening small molecules which have anti-cancer properties. I have also worked and developed primary tumor models.  Attained extensive experience in tissue culture techniques i.e. maintenance and cryopreservation of different cancer cell lines and studying the effect of novel herbal compositions from natural sources that trigger apoptosis in cancer cells by manipulating different signal transduction pathways as part of cancer drug discovery. Also investigated extensively about the role of free radicals involved in the cell death mechanisms.
