Biography
Aniruddha Sinha Koenigsknecht Distinguished University Fellowship, Ohio State University, Columbus, USA, October 2006 to September 2007 and January 2010 to December 2010 Recipient of 7 merit medals awarded by the Mechanical Engineering department of Jadavpur University, Kolkata, India in 2001
Research Interest
Fluid dynamics: reduced-order modeling of flows, aeroacoustics, hydrodynamic stability theory and feedback flow control. The main application of these tools has been to high-speed jets - both for noise mitigation and mixing enhancement. Another application has been airfoil separation control. Recent advances in experimental techniques and computational simulations generate enormous datasets, and I am interested in analyzing them to reveal the flow physics buried within.
