Research Interest
Solar powered miniature aircraft. In this project it is aimed to design and fabricate a radio controlled aircraft which will be powered by solar cells fixed on the wing. This is a part of B.Tech. project. This will enhance our knowledge in MAV design. Developing a inertial navigation system to be used in laboratory for small duration trajectory. It is expensive and difficult to handle precision inertial navigation system at laboratory level. We are attempting to build a low cost inertial navigation system using MEMS based sensors and demonstrate for small trajectories. This type of facility will help students in understanding the principles of an inertial navigation system. Development of a ground based autonomous vehicle. This project is undertaken to gain more insight into design of controller for autonomous vehicle. This knowledge will help in design and development of a flying autonomous vehicle. ISRO launch vehicle simulation facility. This facility is unique in our country where the actual hardware used in the launch vehicle is in the simulation loop. Using this facility new control laws for launch vehicle can be tested with hardware in loop.
