Sedimentology: Microbially induced sedimentary structures in Proterozoic, Precambrian sedimentation, Sedimentary facies and basin analysis in Precambrian Vindhyan basin of central India. Sequence stratigraphy of Vindhyan and Kutch basin. Stable isotopes and carbonate diagenesis, Recent sediments around Gulf of Cambay, provenance and tectonic settings, deep sea siliciclastic sedimentation in Cenozoic Andaman basin, Phanerozoic and Precambrian glauconites in sequence stratigraphic context, Jurassic black shale in Kutch and its implications.
