Biography
One year clinical internship training in the branches of medicine, surgery, community medicine and obstetrics & gynaecology. I am a registered clinical practitioner with MCI registration no : 81367. Hands on experience in handling the following instruments : Dynamic Light Scattering (DLS) Particle size analyser, Zeta potential analyser,In-vivo Multispectral imaging System, Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy(FTIR), Spectrofluorimetre and spectrophotometer, Biosafety Cabinet (class -2,safety level level-2). Animal cell culture and in-vivo work. Undergone practical lab works which involved understanding the principles and demonstration of Instruments in our centre (Amrita centre for Nanosciences – ACNS ,Kochi) like Scanning electron microscopy(SEM), Atomic Force Microscopy (AFM), Western blot , HAAKE (melt processing of nanocomposites), DSC (Differential Scanning Calorimetry), TGA (Thermo Gravimetric Analysis), Electro-spinning apparatus, & FACS (Cell sorter).
Research Interest
Nanomedicine, Cancer Nanotechnology, Photothermal Therapy, Nanotoxicology, Triggered Drug Delivery and Theranostics.
