Biography
I am currently working as Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering, IIT, Kharagpur, India.
Research Interest
My general interest lies in the mechanics of discrete and continuous systems, and their possible interaction. Some of the current problems are in inflatable structures, vibration induced transport, catenary-pantograph interaction dynamics and rail-vehicle dynamics.
