Research Interest
work on problems of pattern-forming instabilities in fluid dynamics. The problems of thermal convection, magneto-convection and interfacial waves are of current interests. Low-Prandtl-number fluids show several inetersting feartures including the phenomenon of bursting of patterns in the presence of Coriolis force as well as Lorentz force.
