Research Interest
The group members are working on two major aspects of inorganic chemistry. These are: 1. Synthesis and structure of multi-metallic multi-nuclear complexes using metalloligands and studies of their properties, like dye adsorption properties and catalytic properties. 2. Synthesis and structure of simple air and moister stable transition metal complexes and their catalytic properties towards regio- and stereo- and enantio- selective C - C, C - N and C - O bond formation reaction and polymerization reaction. Apart form these recently we have also started working on the synthesis of metalorganic gels and studies on their dye adsorption and dye separation properties and their catalytic properties .
