Biography
I like to spend time working in the areas of Microscopy, Plasmonics and Metamaterials. I am an experimentalist by training, but I do have a fair grip on theory and translation to computer simulations to back up our experimental findings. I graduated with the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Electrical Engineering from the Texas Tech University. During this time, I was with the Nanotech Center (It was called Jack Maddox Laboratory at the time I joined) and learnt micro and nano scale wafer processing for realizing optical devices. Following my studies, I joined IIT Madras as a faculty member in the Electrical Engineering department.
Research Interest
