Biography
Dr. Hariharan received his Ph.D. from the Department of Mechanical Engineering, IIT Madras in 2012 and B.E from University of Madras in 2004. He worked in the R&D department of Ashok Leyland Ltd, Chennai from 2004 to 2013 and as a post-doc researcher in Graduate Institute of Ferrous Technology (GIFT), POSTECH, South Korea from 2012 to 2014. Prior to joining IIT Madras, he was working as Assistant Professor in the department of mechanical engineering, IIT Delhi (2015-2016). His research interests include (not limited to) Sheet metal forming, Plasticity, Fatigue and Mechanical behaviour of materials.
