Biography
Dr. Chirodeep Bakli received his bachelor's and doctoral degree from Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur. He was the branch topper in B. Tech (Hons) in Energy Engineering and received the Institute Silver Medal. Following which he directly joined the doctoral program in the department of Mechanical Engineering. His thesis titled "Dynamical Aspects of Water Transport in Nanofluidic Channels" had contributions from his papers published in Journals like Physical Review Letters, Nano Letters, etc. His research interests can be broadly grouped under the domain of Microfluidics and Nanofluidics. His immediate research interests are devising energy conversion processes at micro and nano-scales and study of smart interfaces.
