Biography
Dr. Singh joins IIT Ropar as an Assistant Professor of Mechanical Engineering. Before joining IIT Ropar, he taught at Baba Banda Singh Bahadur Engineering College, Fatehgarh Sahib. He has received Young Scientist Award, Career Award for Young Teachers, and Maharashtra Award for Outstanding Research Work by Teachers of Engineering Colleges. To his credit, he has completed several CSIR, DST and AICTE sponsored projects. He has authored more than 60 papers in international and national journals and conference proceedings, and has attended conferences in USA, Canada, Netherlands, and South Korea.

Surface Engineering-Degradation of Materials, High Temperature Corrosion and its Protection, Slurry Erosion of Hydraulic Turbines and its Control, Biomedical Coatings; Sustainable Manufacturing Technology-Modulation Assisted Machining; Friction-Stir Processing/Welding; Bioenergy Generation and Analysis.
