Biography
Dr. Nagaraja obtained his M.Sc. degree in Chemistry (2000) from Bangalore University. Then he carried out doctoral research work under the supervision of Prof. Balaji Rao Jagirdar at Department of Inorganic and Physical Chemistry, Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore and received Ph. D. degree in 2007. Later, he carried out postdoctoral research work at Brandeis University, USA and JNCASR, Bangalore, India. Prior to joining IIT Ropar, he worked as an Assistant Professor at IIT Jodhpur during May 2011 to August 2012. His research interests are in the broad area of inorganic materials chemistry. His current His current research is focused on design and synthesis of multifunctional metal-organic frameworks and inorganic nanomaterials for hydrogen storage, selective capture and conversion of carbon dioxide and photocatalytic applications.
