Biography
I joined the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at IIT Ropar in fall 2013. Prior to that I was associated with the CASAS group at Washington State University, where I worked in the area of data mining applied to activity recognition and smart home technologies. I completed my PhD in 2010 under the supervision of Prof. Sethuraman Panchanathan from Arizona State Univerity. I like to work on some fundamental machine learning/data mining probelms that are inspired by application domains such as activity recognition, pervasive health care and recently from ICT4D.
