Biography
Dr Müller has made substantial and significant contributions in Inorganic Chemistry covering a wide spectrum of areas, Supramolecular inorganic chemistry, Nano sciences, Bio-inorganic chemistry, Heterogenous catalysis, Molecular Physics and many others. Starting his work on polyormetallates he cleverly designed and demonstrated many interacting aspects of inorganic chemistry such as giant spheres Mo154 (big wheel), Mo176, Mo368 (Bielefeld ‘hedgedog’) a hollow icosohedral polymolybdates and others. The most recent work on probing and controlling water structures inside Bielefeld rings and balls, and nano-scaled porous capsules / artificial cells has attracted international attention.
