Biography
Massevitch is reputed for her first computations of stellar evolution with mass Loss; structure of red giants; and evolution of close binaries. She organised the Satellite Tracking Stations in the USSR and had international collaboration in this field. The first results of photographic tracking data for geodesy (1961) are from her. She is also known for improvement of the accuracy of photographic and layer tracking data.
