Biography
Arun M Jayannavar did his BSc (1976) from Govindram Seksaria Science College and MSc (1978) from Karnatak University, Dharwar. He got his PhD (1982) from the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore under the supervision of N Kumar and ESR Gopal. He was a Visiting Scientist at International Centre for Theoretical Physics (ICTP), Trieste, Italy (1983-84) and Humbold Fellow at the University of Ulm (1988-90). In 1991, he joined as a faculty at the Institute of Physics, Bhubaneswar.
