Biography
Kattera Appanna Suresh obtained his B.Sc. (1967) and M.Sc. (1969) degrees from the University of Mysore and worked as Lecturer, Siddaganga Science College, Tumkur (1969) and Head of the Department of Physics, Siddaganga Institute of Technology, Tumkur (1971). He joined Raman Research Institute (RRI), Bangalore (1972) for Ph.D. work in the area of Liquid Crystals under the guidance of Professor S.Chandrasekhar. He was appointed as Scientist at RRI in 1977.
