Biography
Mewa Singh did his Masters in Psychology from Panjab University, Chandigarh. He joined Meerut University to work with Professor SD Singh where he developed interest in wildlife and primates. He obtained PhD (Psychopharmacology) from University of Mysore and also got training in Wildlife Management and Conservation from Smithsonian Institution, Washington DC. He has been teaching at University of Mysore since 1977. He was a Fulbright Scholar-in-Residence at Bucknell University, USA; Summer Academy Teacher at Studienstiftung in Germany; and Summer Academy Teacher at Russian Academy of Science, Moscow.
