Biography
Shrikant Mahadeo Bhatwadekar obtained his BSc degree in 1966 and MSc degree in 1968 from University of Poona and University of Bombay, respectively. After completing his Masters he joined the School of Mathematics, Tata Institute of Fundamental Research (TIFR) in 1968 as a Research Assistant. He obtained his PhD degree in 1975 from Bombay University under the supervision of Professor R Sridharan. He continued his research career in TIFR and at present he is a Senior Professor at the institute.
