Biography
Sumit Bhaduri earned his B Sc degree (1968) from Presidency College, Calcutta University, after which he did a Tripos (1971) and PhD (1974) at the University of Cambridge, UK. He was a Royal Society Post-Doctoral Fellow at the University of Milan (1975) followed by post-doctoral work at Cambridge in 1976.
