Biography
Hariom Manchiraju is an Assistant Professor in the Accounting area at the Indian School of Business. He holds PhD and MBA degrees from State University of New York – Buffalo, MFM from Sri Satya Sai University, India, and Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce from Osmania University, India. His research involves examining the usefulness of accounting information in capital markets, assessing the characteristics and usefulness of the financial forecasts of managers and analysts, and issues relating to executive compensation and corporate governance. His teaching interest is in financial accounting, particularly financial statement analysis for MBAs, and advanced financial accounting for senior undergraduates. He is a member of the American Accounting Association.
Research Interest
His research involves examining the usefulness of accounting information in capital markets, assessing the characteristics and usefulness of the financial forecasts of managers and analysts, and issues relating to executive compensation and corporate governance
