Biography
Professor Naga Lakshmi Damaraju’s research has been presented at leading academic conferences of the Academy of Management and the Strategic Management society. She has been appointed as the Global Representative for South-East Asian Region for the Business Policy and Strategy Division of the Academy of Management in 2011. She has also been nominated for election as “Representative-at-large” for the Strategy and Entrepreneurship Interest Group, Strategic Management Society, 2009, 2010; has won First prize at the Hayes Research Forum 2006, 2007, The Ohio State University; was inducted into Beta Gamma Sigma, University of Texas, Dallas; was awarded the Dean’s Scholarship & Dean’s Excellence Scholarship at The University of Texas, Dallas, 2002-2004. Professor Damaraju teaches in the post-graduate programme and the Goldman Sachs women entrepreneurs programme at the ISB. The courses taught include: 1) Competitive Strategy - examining issues central to a firm’s short-term and long-term competitive position 2) Corporate Development - examining issues of firm growth through internal development, mergers and acquisitions and alliances.
