B. Stat (Hons), M. Stat. and Ph. D. degrees from the Indian Statistical Institute (ISI). visited the Michigan State University, East Lansing in 1991-92 for six months. head of the Machine Intelligence Unit, ISI from 2005 to 2010.
Research Interest
Pattern Recognition, Computer Vision, Image Processing, Machine Learning, Neural Networks, Fractals, Genetic Algorithms, Fuzzy Logic, Wavelets and Data Mining.
