Biography
Sheri Alderson, CDA, EFDA, BS is a Clinical Lecturer for the Department of Periodontics & Allied Education, Dental Assisting program, at Indiana University School of Dentistry. She is currently the course director for the Radiology courses for the dental assistants. In addition, she is the course director for Written & Oral Communication and Practice Management. Ms. Alderson is certified in Coronal Polishing Procedures and Caries Prevention Procedures for Dental Auxilairies and teaches lab sessions for the Department of Continuing Education at Indiana University School of Dentistry. She received her certificate in dental assisting and expanded functions at Indiana University School of Dentistry, and her Bachelors of Science in Allied Education from IUPUI. Ms. Alderson has previously held positions as an EFDA in private practice and as an orthodontic assistant. She was also the clinical coordinator and EFDA assistant at Regenstrief Health Center for the General Practice Residency program.
