Biography
Dr. Ranu Gadi is presently heading the Applied Science Department and is working as Associate Professor at IGDTUW. She did her Masters and PhD in Chemistry from IIT Roorkee. She went to Environmental Sciences Division, Lancaster University, Lancaster, UK for Post Doctoral Fellowship. Prior to joining IGDTUW she was a Research Associate (CSIR) at the KDM Institute of Petroleum Exploration, Oil and Natural Gas Corporation, Dehradun and at the National Physical Laboratory, New Delhi. She is an active researcher and has set up Environmental Analysis and Research Lab at IGDTUW.She has twenty two years of research experience and more than twelve years of teaching experience. Two students have been awarded with Ph.D. degree under her supervision and presently four students are pursuing their Ph.D.

Oil and Natural Gas Biomass emissions Characterization of atmospheric aerosols (elemental, organics, carbonaceous, metals), Environmental Analytical Chemistry, Speciation and Bioremediation of priority pollutants in water/wastewater
