Biography
Dr. Naqueeb graduated from the Faculty of Engineering and Technology, Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi with a B.Tech in Electronics and Communication Engineering in 2006. After his undergrad, he worked as Scientist-C for the Space Application Center (Indian Space Research Organization) until 2009. He then went on to obtain a PhD in information theory from the Tata Institute of Fundamental Research in Mumbai in 2015. After his PhD he worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher in the Department of Engineering Science at the University of Oxford. His research interests lie in the area of classical and quantum information theory, particularly information theoretic problems in the non-asymptotic regime.
