Prof. V. N. Rajasekharan Pillai is Non-Executive Independent Director of Indraprastha Medical Corp. Ltd. He is M. Sc. (Chemistry). Prof. V. N. Rajasekharan Pillai has been at the helm of affairs of many higher education institutions and possesses experience in the field of science and educational administration for over 37 years. He has widely traveled all.over the world and has presented papers & given lectures in a number of National and International'conferences, Universities and Institutions. Presently, Prof. V. N. Rajasekharan Pillai is the Vice- Chancellorof IndiraGandhi National Open University (IGNOU), New Delhi. He is also the Chairman of the Distance Education Council (DEC). Prof. 'Pillai has been decorated / conferred with numerous honours & awards including Presidential Gold Medal of the Indian Science Congress, Triennial National M. V. Pylee Award for the Top Academician of India, Indian Chemical Society Award for research achievements in Chemical Sciences and Honorary Doctorates.
