Biography
His education includes: Ph.D. Economics (JawaharLal Nehru University).His areas of interest are employment, informal sector, labour markets and social security. He has authored/co-authored four books, more than fifty reports and a number of articles in reputed journals. While at IAMR, he was involved in the working group on ”Labour Force and employment projections for Tenth Plan” and preparing a “status paper on Employment and wages in India” for Eleventh Plan of India. He also worked as a consultant in studies of IIPA VIZ “Assessing the future demand of skill-sets in Bihar” and “Evaluation of skill development training programmes of the Ministry of MSME, Government of India.
