Biography
His education includes: M.Sc., Ph.D. His research interest is in Development of Integrated Pests Management (IPM) strategies with a special emphasis on biological control and host plant resistance and Development of biological control of weed management. His ongoing projects are: Evaluation of improved germplasm of Eucalyptus camaldulensis and E. tereticornis for Productivity, wood traits, tolerance to insect pests and diseases and management for higher seed production, Screening of high yielding clones and seed sources of Eucalypts spp. for gall insect pest, Leptocybe invasa Fisher & La Salle, Evaluation and characterization of clones of Casuarina with reference to yield, tree form, biomass, pulping characteristics and key nursery pests.
