Biography
His education includes: Ph.D (Botany). His research interest is in Application of Geospatial technology in Forestry Ecological studies on NWFP especially medicinal plants Phytochemistry of medicinal plants and other NWFP’s His ongoing projects are: “Development of suitable model for intercropping of commercially important medicinal plants with horticultural plantations in temperate regions of Himachal Pradesh” funded by Department of Biotechnology (DBT), Govt. of India,“Suitability of Jatropha curcas L. seed sources in lower and mid Himalayan regions of Himachal Pradesh” funded by Department of Biotechnology (DBT), Govt. of India, “Setting up of 100 ha. demonstration plot in H. P. and production of elite planting material of Dendrocalamus hamiltonii” funded by Department of Biotechnology (DBT), Govt. of India.
