Undertake technology analysis and prior-art searches on various databases especially commercial databases like Delphion, Scifinder, Micropatent etc. Proactively assist in preparation and prosecution of patent applications and response preparation of Patent Office Actions. Also undertake drafting of Material Transfer Agreements & Legal agreements and also negotiation of such agreements. Significant recognition: Awards, fellowships, international funding of distinction, technologies transferred/licensed etc.: Attended 2 days workshop on ‘IPR in Biotechnology’ sponsored by BCIL and CII, at Chandigarh. Attended 15 days training programme on ‘Technology Commercialization’ at Administrative Staff College of India, Hyderabad.
