Educational Qualification:: PhD: University of Bombay, Mumbai, India (1990-1996). MSc: Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur, India (1987-1989). Awards:: Recipient of INSA Medal for Young Scientists in the year 1998 from Indian National Science Academy, New Delhi. Recipient of A.K. Bose Memorial Award in the year 2000 from Indian National Science Academy, New Delhi. Post Doctoral Research Fellowship in Chemistry Department, Emory University, Atlanta, USA for 2 years (1997-1998). Recipient of APA-Prize for Young Scientist in the year 2004 from The Asian and Oceanian Photochemistry Association. Fellow of National Academy of Science (F. N. A. Sc.), Allahabad, India on Dec, 2008. Recipient of Homi Bhabha Science & Technology Award for the year 2010 from Department of Atomic Energy (DAE), India. Recipient of CRSI Bronze Medal in the year 2011 from Chemical Research Society of India, Bangalore. Recipient of “DAE-SRC Outstanding Investigator Award” for the year 2012 from Department of Atomic Energy (DAE), India. Fellow of Academy of Science (F.A.Sc.), Bangalore, India on Jan, 2013. Research Interest
Ultrafast Photochemistry and Reaction Dynamics in solution phase and on nanostructured materials. Design and Development of Ultrafast Laser Laboratory Ultrafast charge carrier and interfacial electron and hole transfer dynamics in nanostructured and quantum dot core-shell materials using femtosecond visible, infrared and terahertz spectroscopy. Synthesis, characterization and spectroscopic Analysis of alloy and doped quantum dot materials. Ultrafast Proton Coupled Electron Transfer reaction Working on the Mechanism of Dye-sensitized, Perovskite and Quantum Dot Solar Cell using Fast and Ultrafast spectroscopic Techniques. Design and Development of Dye-sensitized Solar Cell and Quantum Dot Solar Cell.
