Educational Qualification: PhD (2007-2012): IIT Delhi. MSc (2004-2006): University of Delhi, Delhi. Positions Held/Research Experience: Postdoctoral fellow at University of Illinois, Chicago: Postdoctoral fellow at University of Louisville: Feb-2013 to Aug-14. Senior research associate at IIT Delhi :July-2012 to Feb-2013. Ph.D: July 2007 – June 2012: Thesis title “Nanostructured metal borides: Synthesis and properties” Department of Chemistry, I.I.T. Delhi, India. Researcher: June-2006 to June- 2007, University of Delhi.
Research Interest
Nanostructured materials and their application to make electronic devices. Low temperature stabilization of boron based materials (borane, boride and borates) and stabilization of higher oxidation states in binary and ternary metal oxides. Quantum dots based Colloidal nanostructures and their application in making flexible electronic devices. Production and storage of H2 using nanostructured materials.
