Education 2004 – 2007 Ph.D., Astronomy, Cornell University. 2000 – 2004 M.S., Astronomy, Cornell University. 1996 – 2000 B.Tech., Electrical Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology Madras (India). Experience Observing Experience: Arecibo radio telescope, Green Bank telescope, Effelsberg radio telescope, Very Large array, MERLIN VLBI facility, Heinrich-Hertz submillimeter telescope, IRAM 30 m telescope, APEX telescope, James Clerk Maxwell telescope, Submillimeter Array, Gemini-South telescope. Employment: 2011 - Assistant Professor, Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology. 2009 – 2011 SMA fellow, Institute for Astronomy, University of Hawaii. 2007 – 2009 Postdoctoral fellow, Max-Planck-Institut fuer Radioastronomie, Bonn (Germany).
Research Interest
Observational astronomy, High-mass star formation, Astrochemistry, Astronomical masers, Galactic Structure,Radio Astronomy Instrumentation.
